By using YANA, you agree to these terms. They exist to keep this a safe, good-faith place to report wrongdoing and be heard. Please read them.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content

YANA has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By using this service you agree not to post content that is unlawful, that sexualizes or endangers a minor, that harasses, threatens, defames, or doxxes any person, that is sexually explicit, hateful, deliberately false, or spam. Content that violates this policy will be removed and the ability to post it may be revoked. Serious violations, including any content that endangers a child, will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

1. What YANA is

YANA is an anonymous platform for reporting corruption, abuse of power, and other wrongdoing, and for finding others who have described similar experiences. Reports on YANA are often allegations that have not been proven. They are presented as "voice" — accounts of what people say happened — and are not statements of established fact or findings of guilt.

2. Anonymity and accounts

You can use YANA without creating an account. When you submit a report you receive a private access code; it is the only way to return to your report, and we cannot recover it if you lose it. Do not share it with anyone you don't trust.

3. Your responsibilities as a user

4. Content moderation and reporting

Any user may flag content using the "Report a problem" link on any case — no account required. A moderator reviews every flag. We remove content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines, typically within 24 hours of a report, and may withdraw the ability to post from anyone who provides violating content. Our decisions are recorded so the process remains accountable. Our full content standards are set out in the Community Guidelines, which form part of these terms.

5. No verdicts, no legal advice

YANA does not adjudicate guilt and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on YANA is a court finding. Journalists, investigators, and authorities may use what is published here as a starting point, but responsibility for any action rests with them.

6. Evidence and files

You are responsible for the files you upload. Do not upload material you have no right to share, malware, or content that violates these terms. We may remove any file that does.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

YANA is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, YANA and its operators are not liable for content submitted by users or for how third parties use information published on the platform.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
